that my last post was made at the beginning of March! Let me tell you, I feel a little bit silly with that post because of what it consists :p
From these 5 things, I only did two of them; made new friends & got a job. Thank God it's not marked in red, eh? The whole making new friends ordeal... not difficult for me at all, I'm very outgoing and I love meeting new people so when I have a good connection with a person and I can befriend him or her, it's awesome. Getting a job was easier than I thought, except I'm quitting this job
tomorrow... I applied to American Eagle yesterday which was very nice
and I'll be calling next Tuesday or Wednesday for a follow-up. The job I
currently have makes me depressed and unsatisfied. I had 3 weeks off work (2 of which were because of these stupid quizzes I was asked to do that were irrelevant and the other week ONLY because I got ONE shift that week and I couldn't even go because I wasn't able to move [injured my neck really badly and stayed in bed for 2 and a half days] and now again this week I only have one shift and that's tomorrow). Prior to having that long ass vacation off of work, I would come into work.. sit there for an hour and then they'd tell me that I could go home because there was no business and the only benefit from that was my manager would pay for my food, that's pretty shitty. I called into work yesterday after applying to American Eagle and doing a bit of shopping at WINNERS to find out my schedule... One shift... Sunday... 6-business decline... SCREW THAT! I wrote my resignation letter last week and I am proud to say that I am handing it in tomorrow and my last shift at this crappy ass restaurant will be next Sunday.
Something positive about not being at work for 3 weeks is that I lost quite a bit of fat. I work at a restaurant and I get 50% off food when I'm at work. The fact that I haven't been there in so long gave me time to work out and eat HEALTHY (thaaankkk you laawwd).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to my future phone call with American Eagle next week.
I might go out tonight for my girlfriend's birthday (plans are still fuzzy), and I have work tomorrow--but I hope all of you lovelies have a beautiful weekend. XOXO
